The financial services branch donated $600 towards the cause, serving as a generous contribution towards Vivability's initial $2000 goal.
Bridges Bathurst branch manager Edward Brown said the business shares a productive relationship with Vivability, and were more than eager to help out.
"We've shared a constructive partnership with Vivability for a little over two years and because they're supporting such a great cause, we thought we'd initially donate $500 to assist their fundraiser," Mr Brown said.
"We donated an extra $100 on the basis of their commitment to keep up the walk in pouring rain."
Bridges Bathurst supports Vivability through the disability service provider's School Leavers Employment Support [SLES] program, supporting work placements for clients with a view to progress to paid employment.
Mr Brown said the business employs Matthew Breach through Vivability to assist with cleaning duties at their George Street office.
"Matt's an asset to our business, he always turns up on time [in his heavy metal 'battle jacket'] to do his thing," he said.
"As a big fan of music myself, we always have a good chat and we're happy to have him."
Vivability chief executive officer Nick Packham said he's appreciative of Bridges' ongoing support.
"We're very thankful for their donation and are pleased to have built such a productive working relationship over the past few years,' Mr Packham said.
"Bridges has also assisted us with a mock interview process to ensure our clients are well prepared to approach businesses about employment opportunities."
HD is an inherited, relentlessly progressive neurological condition characterised by involuntary movement and lack of co-ordination.
Vivability is in the process of working with Huntington's NSW ACT on a national pilot to provide tailored accommodation for people with neurological disorders.
