CSU coach Phil Tuilau is backing his side to rediscover the form which carried them to the Mid West League's league tag minor premiership this Saturday when their season goes on the line.
While the Mungals progressed through the regular rounds unbeaten, they were well below their best in last Saturday's major semi-final against the Cargo Heelers and lost 32-14 as a result.
It means they must win this Saturday's preliminary final against the Orange Barbarians to be a chance of continuing their remarkable record of winning every league tag premiership that has been contested.
Tuilau knows there is a very big target on the back of his side, but the reason why it is there gives his confidence.
"It will be tough, everyone loves a giant killer," he said.
"But once we all get back onto the same page, once we all lift together, I think this will be very tough team to beat. The girls do have it in them, I don't doubt them, that they can win this.
"It's back to the drawing board, back to the basics and hopefully the girls can come through, I think they will."

CSU comfortably beat the Barbarians 38-0 in their season opener.
That was played on the Mungals' home turf at Diggings Oval and given the grand final will also be played at the uni ground, Tuilau's side is determined to get there.
"Obviously we can't look past this coming weekend, but we would love to get to that grand final," he said.
"We haven't versed Orange since round one, so we don't really know what they'll be like now. Hopefully we'll be able to be better than them."
The Mungals will take on the Barbarians at Oberon this Saturday from 1.30pm, with the victor to join the Heelers in the grand final.
In the Mid West League Cup preliminary final, minor premiers Oberon face the Orange United Warriors. The winner of that contest will join the CSU Mungoes in the decider.
