A joint promotion between the Western Advocate, Prime 7 and Bathurst Regional Council, Crazy Day is held each year in September to give participating businesses the opportunity to clear excess stock, as well as promote the importance of shopping locally.
Gorgeousness owner Bron Aberley, who has participated in Crazy Day for a number of years, said the event will provide local shoppers with ample opportunity to grab a bargain.
"We'll have bargains ranging from $2 to $50, with some items to be advertised at 70 to 90 per cent off," Ms Aberley said.
"We hope everyone will follow social distancing guidelines, and everyone wearing a mask will have an extra chance to win a $1000 Visa card, which they will immediately go into the draw for when they purchase an item in store."
Crazy Day 2020 will feature 16 participating retailers, including Gorgeousness [Boutique and Home], Panthers Bathurst, Town and Country, Spotlight, Watermart, Bathurst RSL Club, Body and Soul, National Hearing Care and Amplifon Brand, Blooms Chemist, Cotton On, Burgers on William, Pizza Rebellion, Bake Table and Tea, Dejorja and News on William.
