IF last Saturday's Western Youth League quarter-final clash with the Wellington Cowboys showed St Pat's anything it's that they won't get away with that performance twice in a row.

The Saints prepare to face Dubbo CYMS in this Saturday's semi-final at Forbes knowing full well they can't search for too low percentage plays like they did in their previous game.
Pat's coach Kev Grimshaw is interested to see which half of football from that game his team chooses to emulate: A first half filled with precision play and good decision making, or a second half where overconfidence started to stifle their attack.
"We need to make sure we play out the full game," he said.
"I thought against Wellington we were cruising against Wellington but then we seemed to get a bit overconfident in what we were doing. That let them back into the game and in the end the result could have gone either way.
"They had a bit of momentum going but we were able to hold them off, thank goodness."
The match may have gone the Saints' way but it certainly was a wake up call for a side who have triumphed against all before them in 2020.
Dubbo CYMS are somewhat of an unknown quantity to St Pat's, but if the team was capable of finding a large haul of tries against Orange CYMS then that's one reason enough for the Bathurst team to be on high alert.
"They've got some excellent attack if you look at that score against Orange. We have to be on our toes. Last time we played Orange CYMS they beat us. It's a quality football team we're going to play," Grimshaw said.
"You have to be prepared to roll your sleeves up at this time of year. We were finding ourselves in a good rhythm but then things might have been going a little too good, and that's when we started to overplay our hand a bit.
"We came up with a couple of unforced errors against Wellington and they took advantage of them."
But on the positive side of things, there was enough quality football in that first half for Grimshaw to be assured that his team can be capable of beating anyone before them.
"They were extremely good with their play making in the first half but, as I said to the guys after the game, you need to be doing that regardless of the score. You've got to put the score out of your mind and stick to what's working for us," he said.
"We learned a valuable lesson out of last week: Not to go away from what helped us get to where we are now. Just because you're leading by a couple of tries it doesn't mean you should be going for the cheap options.
"You've got to keep doing all the hard work, and that's when the rewards will come."
Kick-off is 12pm while Forbes Magpies and Parkes Spacemen follow at 2pm.
