POLICE are on the hunt for three men responsible for an armed home invasion in West Bathurst on Monday night.

Detectives are appealing to the public to come forward with information after the offenders assaulted the home's occupants before stealing property from the premises.
Police said the incident occurred about 11.30pm on Monday, September 21 when three unknown men, armed with a knife and a pole, forced entry into a home on Parnham Street.
Police have been told the men allegedly assaulted and threatened the occupants, a 39-year-old man and a 39-year-old woman, before ransacking the home and fleeing with tools, cash and jewellery.

Officers from Chifley Police District attended and established a crime scene, which was forensically examined.
The man was treated at Bathurst Hospital for minor injuries and was later released. The woman was uninjured.
Police are also appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident or has information to come forward.
