A long-standing relationship with Walkinshaw Andretti United (WAU) has given the staff at Bishops Court the opportunity to play a very important role in the race team's Bathurst 1000 campaign.

There's an old saying, 'An army marches on its stomach', and if that's the case, the mechanics and support team at WAU will be the most invigorated and ready for battle over the weekend.
Bishops Court has been tasked with the catering for the team, each day of the four-day event preparing breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert and snacks for close to 30 people.
They have promised that the "team won't go hungry".
The catering arrangement began on Thursday and meant an early start for Bishops Court owner Christine Le Fevre and her five helpers, who got to work in the kitchen at 5am so they could prepare breakfast and morning tea.
"In an operation, akin to a military operation, Christine and her team pumped out hot rolls crammed with local free range fried eggs, lashings of crispy bacon, topped with caramelised onion and house made tomato relish, fruit and nut granola yogurt and berry compotes and warm apple, cinnamon muffins for breakfast, followed by a morning tea with some locally made lemon, caramel, passion fruit and cheesecake slices along with large fresh fruit platters," the Bishops Court team said.
"And a little birdie told us some of the guys believe our slices, in particular the caramel and chocolate, and passion fruit slices, should be 'illegal'!"
An equally impressive menu was prepared for lunch, dinner and dessert on Thursday.
Items included wraps packed with roasted beef, roasted tomatoes, beetroot relish and rocket, individual vegetables frittatas, bangers and mash featuring pork sausages, and croissant pudding with berries and vanilla custard.
"Many local suppliers have been utilised by Christine to help her with this event and everyone has been incredibly helpful," the Bishops Court team said.
WAU team members come to Bishops Court several times a day to collect the meals, so they can be delivered to people fresh and hot.
The feedback has been extremely positive.
"Bruce Stewart of Walkinshaw Andretti United has been in constant contact with Christine all day from the track and the feedback has been fabulous," the Bishops Court team said.
"Superlatives such as 'perfect', 'superb' and 'boys are full and content after lunch', have been a wonderful inspiration for the team at Bishop's Court, who have been cooking and preparing to strict timetables."
It has been a tough year for tourism and hospitality, so to have the extra business from WAU has been a wonderful reward for Bishops Court.
On top of the catering, the venue has been fully booked for the weekend and staff have been meeting guests' needs while doing the extra cooking.
