Lee Holdsworth and his co-driver Michael Caruso, along with pit reporter Chad Neylon and Tickford boss Tim Edwards, stopped by the distillery to chat about being in Bathurst and to taste-test some gin.
The drivers are among the most experienced in the field, with a combined 30 previous Bathurst 1000 starts between them, however it's rare for them to get to experience the region as tourists.
Supercars has been making an effort to promote businesses and tourism activities at each stop on the calendar this year amid the coronavirus pandemic, and Bathurst has received the same treatment.
"We just usually get to the race meeting and you're out to the track preparing, and then you race and you go home on Sunday night, but here early at Bathurst this week and got the chance to look around at the countryside and what Bathurst has got to offer," Holdsworth told Neylon in the piece.
Caruso admitted he had never been to a distillery in Bathurst before and he was grateful for the opportunity.
"It's nice to experience new stuff no matter how old you get and this is great to be here today," he said.
Speaking about Bathurst, Neylon noted that "it's an area that seems to be growing with a heap of different things to do out here".
The piece briefly touched on the driver pairing for the race, before showing Caruso, Holdsworth, Edwards and Neylon sampling gin from the distillery.
Foxtel's Fox Sports 506 channel has been converted to a dedicated Bathurst channel, which has been in operation since October 12.
It will air the race live and ad-break free on Sunday.
