Exhibitions at BRAG
Four new exhibitions have opened at the Bathurst Regional Art Gallery [BRAG]. The four exhibitions - RE: Union; Ngurang Buwugarra-gu Gudhi-dha Murruway, Wiradyuri Ngaanha; Of this Place and Flightpaths: - each share affinity for place. They feature works from Wiradyuri artists Amala Groom and Birrunga Wiradyuri, multidiscipline artist Jock Alexander and sculptor Tom Buckland respectively. They want your blood
The Red Cross Mobile Blood Bank is back in Bathurst this week and is seeking donors. The mobile service will be open in the Bathurst McDonald's car park from 9am-1.15pm on Tuesday, October 20; and 9am-3.30pm on Wednesday, October 21. Child's play at library
Children's programs have returned to Bathurst Library in a face-to-face format for Term 4. Strict booking conditions apply to comply with COVID-safe measures. The full program offers Storytime for children aged three to five on Tuesdays; Baby Rhyme Time for six months to three years on Wednesdays, and Boredom Busters (online) for five to 18-year-olds on Thursdays. U3A to resume classes
Bathurst's University of the Third Age [U3A] will resume face-to-face classes on October 19 [Term 4] for the first time this year. Classes will be run under COVID-safe protocols, and members are encouraged to wear masks and to not attend class if feeling unwell.
