While a majority of Bathurst clubs have embraced the challenge of Orange District Cricket Association's Royal Hotel Bonnor Cup in recent years, City Colts are yet to feature in the Twenty20 competition.

But that all changes under the lights of Orange's Wade Park on Friday night, when City Colts face cross-town rivals St Pat's Old Boys.
St Pat's suffered a narrow loss in last season's final, while they were crowned champions the season before, so understandably Colts' Josh Toole is mindful of the threat the Saints present.

"They've been a strong team in all forms for the past few seasons," he said.
"They're going to be quite difficult, but we'll back ourselves and give ourselves the best opportunity to win.
"They've got a few young fellas that come through and they're starting to perform, alongside some of the older heads that put some good efforts in."
But of course Toole is confident in his team's ability to get the job done.
"We're quite aggressive in the way we play cricket. I'd say the shorter form of cricket suits us a bit more," he said.
"Henry Shoemark opens the bat alongside Dave Sellers and I don't think there's that many guys that play that many shots when opening the bat. Hopefully they get us off to a good start."
Looking forward, Toole believes City Colts have a good enough squad to be challenging for the final this season.
"We haven't really spoken about goals, we just want to take it as it comes being our first season," he said.
"Being realistic, we've got a good squad that can win the competition. I've been around the Bonnor Cup for quite a while now and I know the depth of most teams, so I'd like to think we're definitely up there and can compete right to the end.
"Realistically, I think we can make the finals and give it a good shot. Obviously St Pat's will test us straight away."
Friday's game is expected to get underway at 6.30pm.
