All three Bathurst Orange Inter District Cricket matches scheduled for Bathurst resulted in washouts, with only one game getting underway before play was halted.
Joey Coughlan and Bathurst City had just taken the covers off and were about to do the coin toss at the Sportsground before the rain started to come down, in their scheduled match against Rugby Union.

The Redbacks skipper said it wasn't the worst result, as he side is currently battling injuries.
"We've got a few injuries at the moment," he said.
"We weren't happy that it was washed out - we all like playing cricket - but it wasn't the worst result as we split the points now because wash outs use to be nothing but now we share the points."
"There's a few long term injuries, so we might struggle a little bit but the Wizard, Matt Willis, is back, so that's a bonus.
"He's really keen to play the rest of the season for us and we've got a couple more blokes too we can call upon for the injuries."
St Pat's Old Boys were also meant to play Centrals across the road at Morse Park 1, but that was called-off without a ball bowled.
Out at Loco Oval, City Colts and Kinross were able to get on for 13 overs, with the students winning the toss and sending the hosts in to bat, with Colts finishing with 3-75.
Round three was meant to be the last round of one-day fixture until next year, with the clubs to battle it out in two-dayers for the next four rounds.
Coughlan has said he prefers the one-day format.
"I wish it was all one-day cricket. Especially with everything going on with COVID and all the other stuff, it's just easier," he said.
"It's simple, you just get a result. You don't have to worry about anything next week.
"Even with the rain, it's just split the points, see you later instead of mucking around and turning it into a one-dayer next week anyway.
"It's meant to be a very wet summer, so I prefer it to be a one-day competition."
