By ignoring the advice of medical and law enforcement professionals and welcoming thousands of race goers to our beautiful town last weekend, the collection of people supposedly charged with protecting our community has instead exposed us all to the worst pandemic in the world's history.

Let us just hope that none of our loved ones dies as a result of their foolish incompetence.
