The fundraiser saw 60 Vivability staff members walk a total of 1155.53 kilometres throughout September, including 87 laps of Mount Panorama and 123 laps of the Macquarie River.
Vivability human resources manager Blake Aubin said it was a great feeling to exceed their initial $2000 goal as a team, and are hoping to go bigger and better next year.
"All the teams got around it, everyone wore their Walk 4 Hope shirts, and it was successful in raising awareness and starting conversations around HD throughout the community," Mr Aubin said.
"There was plenty of positive team building, and it only brought our staff closer together."
Huntington's NSW ACT funding and marketing manager Pauline Keyvar said the funds raised will allow the charity to carry out vital programs to support HD battlers and their families.
"We have a young persons program, which pairs a social worker with a younger HD battler, and no one else in Australia offers such a program," Ms Keyvar said.
"Having an organisation like Vivability on board means there's more HD awareness in the Bathurst community, because it's a widely misunderstood illness."
HD is an inherited, relentlessly progressive neurological condition characterised by involuntary movement and lack of co-ordination.
