The event, held at Lions Berry Park on Saturday, October 24, saw numerous members of the community peruse a wide range of plants and planting accessories.
Bathurst Gardeners' Club publicity officer Dianne Thurling said the expo was well received by all involved.
"Stallholders who brought a broad range of goods to the expo were happy with sales from the steady flow of visitors to their stalls throughout the day," Ms Thurling said.
"Unfortunately, heavy showers later in the day meant the event could not continue until 5pm as planned, but early counting indicates we have raised sufficient funds to donate to our nominated organisations."
The organisations set to benefit include Daffodil Cottage Wig Library, Mitchell Conservatorium and the 2BS Lions Christmas Miracle Appeal.
Ms Thurling said the club has thanked the sponsors who took the gamble to support the event in such a difficult year.
"The event has given the club encouragement that an expo held alongside the Spring Spectacular would be well supported in future years," she said.
