The fair, which features a host of rides, local market stalls, food vans and showbags, was last held in Bathurst on two seperate weekends in September.
Fun Fair event manager Jade Evans said an overwhelming, positive response from the local community has seen the event booked in for a return.
"We sold out last time because we're limited with our capacity and soon as we left, we were getting people messaging us saying: 'When are you coming back?'," she said.
ALSO MAKING NEWS:
"Our team talked about it and there was probably more demand in Bathurst then any other place we've been. It was really well received.
"We're grateful for the support and we love coming to Bathurst. We've been doing events there forever, so it feels right to come back and put on a fair just before Christmas and give everyone a bit of cheer."
The Fun Fair will return to the showground for two consecutive weekends - November 28-29 and December 5-6.
There will be two four sessions each day, with the first session running from 11am-3pm and the second one running from 4pm-8pm.
Due to high demand last time, Ms Evans is expecting tickets to be snapped up quickly again.
"We definitely recommend people buying tickets now and sales are tracking pretty well already," she said.
She said the event is following strict coronavirus regulations.
"The event has been really well received and definitely from the council, they were pretty impressed with how we put the event together, making sure we apply with all the new health and safety rules," she said.
"They were really happy when we told them we were going to come back.
"There's a lot of people on JobKeeper and the world has been turned upside down, so it's nice to be able to put some smiles on people's faces. It really is, genuinely the nicest experience."
Sessions will be capped at a capacity of 400, with people required to socially distance via the four metre square rule.
There will be dedicated entry and exit points with temperature checks and a contact register for all guests as they come in.
Entry is $5 and then you can purchase rides as you go, or there is an unlimited ride pass for $30.
Tickets can be purchased online via www.ticketebo.com.au.
Temperatures are taken at the gate.
