From now until December, sellers who list a property for sale with the real estate agency will receive $1000 worth of local gift cards from 20 participating local businesses.
First National Real Estate Bathurst principal Jacinta Purvis said the initiative is designed to encourage spending in the local community.
"$1000 is typically 10 per cent of what we make off a listing, and we want to do our part to help the community flourish after such a difficult period with COVID-19," Ms Purvis said.
"We've had nine listings already, and we're aiming for around 20 to 30 by Christmas, meaning $20,000 to $30,000 could go back into the local community."
Ms Purvis said now is a good time to sell, with both land and properties popular among buyers.
"The market is sensational for sellers at the moment, as we currently have the least supply of stock in the 10 years we've run the business," she said.
"Our last two months have the been the biggest in the last decade for sellers, so if anyone's thinking of selling, we're happy to support you."
Participating businesses include Brabhams Outdoor Power Centre, Bake Table & Tea, Legall Patisserie Cafe, Gorgeousness [and Home], Bathurst Strength and Conditioning, Cobb and Co Cellars, Annie's Ice Cream Parlour, Windsor Studio, Macquarie Medi Spa, Museums Bathurst, Metro Cinemas, Elephant and Castle Hotel and Sweet Caramel.
