AN 82-YEAR-OLD man has been threatened and robbed at knifepoint during a weekend home invasion at Rockley Mount, south of Bathurst.

Police said an unknown man approached the resident in his home on Rockley Road about 7am on Saturday and asked to use the phone.
While he was using the home's landline, a second man - armed with a knife and with his face covered - appeared.

The men threatened the resident and demanded drugs and firearms. They ransacked the home before leaving in a small red sedan towards Bathurst.
The resident was shaken but unhurt during the incident.
Officers attached the Chifley Police District established a crime scene and have begun an investigation.
