Idee's last start was back in July of this year, being previously trained by Forbes trainer Peter Kirby, before changing over to Ings.
She explained that the four-year-old bay gelding arrived at her stables because Kirby wanted to try something different.

"He's just with me for a short time," she said.
"His owner, who's also a trainer, wanted to do something a little bit different with him.
"We've just had him but he's probably going home after Friday's race. It was just an experiment to see if it would change his mind, switch him on a little bit."
Ings said she doesn't know what to expect from Idee at the Orange meeting.
"He's a nice horse. He's not a superstar but he's a lovely, kind horse. His work has been really good," she said.
"I don't know what to expect of him, I just hope he improves, so that the owners are happy with him.
"He's a beautiful, big horse and it wouldn't surprise me if he ran a nice race because he's first up for a long while.
"He's had a little break, but we're just hoping to do something to get him excited to be a race horse again."
Idee has drawn barrier three in the TLE and Hometech Class 1 Handicap (1000 metres), the sixth race of the eight race meeting.
Ings said she's hoping Idee will race midfield before finishing off well.
"He's probably a miler. It's hard to say what he's going to do," she said.
"He's really fresh but it's only a 1000-metre race and it'll help him because he won't have to go around horses.
"I'd say he'll be midfield and hopefully finish off. It be nice for him to finish the race off and show a bit of gusto at the end."
Ings' daughter Chelsea Ings has the ride.
Ings will also have a runner competing on the day, down at Sydney on Friday for an afternoon meeting at Rosehill Gardens.
Speed Camera has drawn barrier 13 for the Iron Jack Handicap (1300 metres), with Winona Costin in the saddle for the six-year-old.
