Out of the 12-man squad selected for the team, Parsons is the only Bathurst player selected, however, Blake Kreuzberger was originally picked before withdrawing due to injury.
Parsons and his teammates will face off against Macquarie Valley at Dubbo's Victoria Park 2 and it'll be a testing day, with the mercury forecast to hit at least 36 degrees.

Parsons said he's eager for the challenge ahead and he's confident that he'll play a roll with both the ball and the bat.
"It should be a good game," he said.
"I'm an all-rounder. I'll probably bat in the middle order and bowl in the top order."
He's also praised a number of his teammates, with the majority hailing from either Mudgee or Orange.
"Our captain Connor Whale, he's a really handy bowler, and the vice captain Luke Hunter, he's pretty handy with the bat as well," he said.
The heat should tire the bowlers and the batsmen out, definitely for both teams.

"Dudley Shepherd, he's a great fielder and batsman and there's a few other really good players in the team."
Parsons said the warm weather on the day should play a factor for both teams.
"It should be good, it's meant to pretty hot down there," he said.

It's been a breakout year for Parsons in first grade club cricket, making his debut for St Pat's Old Boys at the top level.
Parsons - the younger brother of fellow first grader Hugh and former Saints talent Ben - played his first senior grade game for Saints against Centennials Bulls last month, taking a wicket in his side's easy seven-wicket victory.
So far he's played three first grade game for Saints this campaign, for figures of 3-37 off 18 overs, as well as playing two Royal Hotel Bonnor Cup matches against City Colts and Centrals.
And just in case he's not playing enough cricket, he's been representing his school Scots All Saints College in the Bathurst District Junior Cricket Association under 15s-opens competition.
Sunday's round two Western Zone Cricket Inter Council under 16s match between Central West and Macquarie Valley will get underway from 10am.
Central West's final match of the competition is against Lachlan on November 29.
Macquarie Valley comfortably won the opening match of the competition, smashing Lachlan by 217 runs at Holman Oval in Cowra.
Macquarie's Riley Keen was a man on fire during that game, with his century-effort of 108 runs playing a major part in his side's win.
