Bathurst's Warren Lloyd will be taking over one of the shops in the Victoria Stores building to display some of his best photographs.

A private evening will open the exhibition on Friday, November 27 from 6pm at Shop 1, Tremain's Mill and the exhibition will run through until Sunday, December 6.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, there can only be 25 people inside the exhibition at one time.

Following the opening night, members of the public will be able to visit the exhibition from 10am to 4.30pm daily. Entry will be free.

"I'm really looking forward to opening night," Mr Lloyd said.

"Photography is something I am passionate about and to get the chance to display my work is a really exciting experience.

"All the pieces I'll be displaying will be up for sale, so hopefully my love of this region will resonate with some people.

"The best compliment a photographer can get is someone hanging your work in their home."

The exhibition, West of the Sandstone Curtain, will be showcasing some of Mr Lloyd's best photos taken around the Central West.

While the emphasis will be on the natural beauty of the region, Mr Lloyd said there will also be some rural and urban images.

"Nature photography is my main passion, and capturing the beauty of our amazing landscapes and unique wildlife brings me no end of joy," he said.

"But while it's great to specialise in a certain style or genre, I think it's just as important to experiment and practice with many different subjects and styles."

Some of Mr Lloyd's work is currently on display around Bathurst at T-Arts gallery and Al Dente.
