"I'm looking forward to working will the committee, members and volunteers to continue to interpret Bathurst's rich history to our community and visitors," she said.
"While the society faces several challenges in the coming year, none the least dealing with reduced hours due to COVID restrictions, I'm positive such limitations will only make the society stronger and more flexible."

It's also had an affect on volunteer numbers, with some members in the coronavirus high-risk category.
Anyone wishing to join the society or volunteer should contact the museum during opening hours on 6332 2522 or email info@bathursthistory.org.au.
