Ms Morris is also known for her best-selling titles The Tattooist of Auschwitz and Cilka's Journey.
Stories of Hope is an inspiring manual for life that profiles the remarkable people the New Zealand-born author has met and the art of listening.
Among them is Lale Sokolov, who Ms Morris met at a Melbourne hospital and eventually discovered had been the tattooist at Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp.
The online event starts at 6pm on Wednesday.
A second online talk with Betty O'Neill on Monday, December 7 will explore similar themes.
Her new book, The Other Side of Absence, explores to better understand her absent father, a WW2 Polish resistance fighter and concentration camp survivor.
Register for both talks at bathurst.nsw.gov.au/library.
