Bragging rights go on the line for the Georges Plains family in the night's top graded race as Bernie drives Alta Equus, Doug races The Mustang while Gemma drives Scott Hewitt's Arma Naughty.
Arma Naughty is likely to start favourite as the mare chases a fifth straight win.
The Bathurst family trio all go out next to each other on the front row, with each having reasons to feel confident their runner can take the spoils.
Doug Hewitt is looking for a fourth straight win on board The Mustang.
The Changeover gelding, a stable favourite of Hewitt's, also scored a nice trial win on his home track on Monday last week in preparation for this run.
His Bathurst record is exemplary.
The Mustang has missed a placing on just three occasions out of his 16 starts at the track.
Doug Hewitt said he and the family have enjoyed the build up to this race.
"We were actually talking about this race with each other during lunch today," he said on Tuesday.
"Bern's drawn the best, then Gem and then me but it looks like there's a lot of gate speed inside us so it won't be easy to get across. I'd say it's going to be hard to get an early move in so you've just got to place your horse in a good position to race."
Hewitt loves any opportunity he can to work with a horse he shares a great bond with.
He's driven him to a Gold Chalice Consolation runner-up result and a third place in the Rod Fitzpatrick Memorial in the past.
Hewitt believes he's looking in close to top form for Wednesday.
"After his little freshen up he's looking super and feeling super. He should be thereabouts though he might not be quite as race fit as his last start," he said.
"He's my favourite horse out here by a long way so I'm hoping we can continue to win. He's a big beautiful horse and I've loved him from the get go. Hopefully he can continue his great form."
