Numbers were solid over the two days of action over the weekend, especially for Sunday's khanacross field featuring several competitive categories.

BLCC president Mick Tuckey said it was a great finale for everyone involved.

"It was a great weekend overall. COVID restricted it a little bit but everyone was able to work around it really well," he said.

"We've been able to run the dirt events at the John Winter Motorsport Park during COVID, and we only actually missed one event through the whole year so we put this one on to make up for it."

In Saturday's motorkhana action it was Rob Dean who claimed the overall victory, also taking out the E-4WD category with a combined time of 199.88.

Geoff Sims was second overall in first in F-FWD Specials division with a time of 205.96, just beating Scott Sims (208.52) who was racing in the same category.

Bailey Edwards (216.18) was the best of the juniors.

On Sunday's khanacross it was Joe Champman (391.02) in the very competitive 4WD Production category who claimed overall honours.

He defeated fellow 4WD Production drivers Harrison Hudson (395.94) and Dean (396.63) for the top spot.

Edwards (422.68) again won the junior battle and was fifth overall.

Meanwhile, Bathurst was recently announced to be once again hosting the first two rounds of the NSW Hillclimb Championship on March 6 and 7.

Tuckey said it's going to be a busy but exciting two days at Mount Panorama.

"We've normally run the first two rounds, as has become custom at Mount Panorama, and they use that as the event to do the previous years' presentations," he said.

"It's going to be on the same weekend as Autofest, just as it was last year, but [operations manager] Les Adams has been very obliging to us and he's happy for us to be at the top of the hill while they're at the bottom."
