RAY White Emms Mooney recently sold close to $17 million worth of property in the region after their auction day in November, which includes a property just minutes from the centre of Bathurst.

Seven properties went to auction on November 27, with six of them being sold.
There were 39 bidders registered across the properties, who generated 139 actual bids, which culminated in nearly $17 million in total sales for the morning.
Among the properties to sell on the night was 'Yarras', a property located just off Limekilns Road, less than 15 minutes from the Bathurst central business district.
The 163-acre property, which has been in the Pratley family for more than 100 years, had been lovingly tended to for generations.
The homestead, built in 1863, includes five bedrooms, two bathrooms, an office and multiple living areas.
Other infrastructure on the property includes two large machinery sheds, multiple smaller sheds, a single brick garage, two cone-shaped grain silos with 60 and 50 tonne capacity, and timber sheep yards and steel cattle yards.
The property also has good access to water, including four dams and frontage to Winburndale Rivulet.
It was considered ideal for growing lucerne, fodder production, and suitable for both sheep and cattle grazing.
It sold for a very strong price at auction.
Ray White Emms Mooney director Pat Bird spoke highly of the string of sales, which show genuine confidence in the region and the rural market.
"We had a fantastic line up of quality lifestyle and grazing properties on offer which were extensively marketed through the spring period, it would be one if the best campaigns I've been involved in over my 18 year career," he said.
In addition to Yarras, Ray White Emms Mooney saw great success during the auction of three fantastic properties being sold on behalf of the estate of Laurie Evans from Oberon.
The properties, 'Ryans', 'Bimbil' and 'Foxlands', attracted over 20 registered bidders and all sold after some very spirited bidding.
"I was particularly pleased to see the Evans properties attract so much attention; Laurie was a livestock client of Ray White Emms Mooney for many years and it was great to see his magnificent properties sell so well," Mr Bird said.
