An annual tradition, the Bathurst community Christmas lunch takes place each year at Hope Church to ensure isolated members of the community don't spend Christmas Day alone.
Organiser Barney Rumble said donations from the wider community are always welcomed, and go a long way to ensuring the lunch, which has been a local staple for over three decades, can go ahead.
"Community donations certainly make things easier, as I don't have to beg and borrow as much to ensure others can have a Merry Christmas," Mr Rumble said.
"It makes sure people in need have a much more enjoyable Christmas."

Bathurst RSL Club president Ian Miller said the club regularly strives to help make Christmas more enjoyable for less fortunate members of the community.
"We realise there are a lot of people in Bathurst who struggle at Christmas time because they don't have the family, connections or money to enjoy the festive period," Mr Miller said.
"Barney and his volunteers do such a fantastic job to ensure everyone has a Merry Christmas, and this lunch perfectly exemplifies the virtue of giving."
The Christmas lunch will operate under COVID-safe restrictions this year, with attendance limited to 100 guests and pick-ups and drop-offs for those without transport unable to occur.
Mr Rumble has advised prospective attendees to get in fast as spots are quickly filling up.
"As of last week, I already had 60-odd guests confirmed, so get in fast," he said.
"If anyone wants to come along, they must register through the Bathurst Information Neighbourhood Centre [BINC]."
