Bolt's song, originally titled 'The Life of a Rat', initially started as a one-minute parody taking part in a viral TikTok trend examining how the 2007 Pixar film Ratatouille would look as a musical.
The song has since been picked up by Broadway as a collaboration with TikTok creators called Ratatouille: The Musical, with Bolt's song to be performed by an as-yet-undisclosed Broadway star.
"It's bonkers, it doesn't feel at all real," she said.
"I've literally been sitting in my house creating these videos for TikTok and I never thought it would land me a credit on Broadway, so I'm very thankful for the opportunity."
The musical will air on January 2 from 11am [Australian time], with tickets costing $6.70 AUD and available from www.todaytix.com, with TikTok creators to be paid for their contributions.
Bolt's song is set to be retitled either 'Trash Is Our Treasure' or 'Good in the Garbage', and is a song for Django, the father of protagonist Remy.
"Apart from Monster's Inc, Ratatouille is my favourite Pixar film, and as all musicals have that whimsical parental song, I felt this tune would fit well," she said.
"It came together quickly, I wrote most of the song in an hour, and the original video was performed in one take."
The response to the song saw Bolt's @fettucinefettuqueen TikTok profile grow to 66,600 followers, more than the population of Bathurst.
However, Bolt's profile already had a following of around 20,000 prior to the song, with the performer gaining national attention for her musical interpretations of speeches from Australian politicians and iconic media moments.
The attention even netted Bolt a duet with former Australian prime minister Kevin Rudd based around his petition to launch a royal commission into Australian media ownership.
"The best thing about TikTok is its ability to bring creatives all across the world together to collaborate, especially in a year where COVID-19 has plagued the entertainment industry," she said.
"There's so many talented creators on the platform, and I think bigger companies should start seeking out these individuals on platforms like TikTok to further their careers."
Bolt is continuing to work on original music, and is considering a move into musical comedy.
