The four-year-old bay gelding has drawn barrier 15 for the Lithgow Furniture and Bedding Maiden Plate (1400 metres) at Tyers Park, after a second and a third from his last five starts.
And according to the Bureau of Meteorology, there's a 90 per cent chance of up to 35 millimetres of rain on Monday and Ings is hoping that will be completely wrong.

"He's just been unlucky with barrier draws and wet tracks. He's not really adapt to wet tracks, but he's also coped the outside draw on three occasions and only given him three starts," she explained.
"We're just hoping that [the forecast] might be wrong as it can sometimes be. It says over 20 millimetres, so anyway, we can only hope and keep our fingers crossed that it's wrong."
Ings explained that Noble Banner - who used to be trained by Wayne Wilkes before September - is a fairly inexperienced horse and she's hoping Monday's race will see continued improvement.

"He came to us as a very green horse," she said.
"He's starting to learn how to race but he had looked a little bit unsure about what he was doing in a field. We just took a step back and rode him a little bit quieter then he had been and he's really hit the line a couple of times.
"He obviously doesn't want to charge off and he gets a little bit over exuberant when he goes forward without cover. We've been hoping he gets a good draw, slot in behind and go to sleep until he's needed."
Noble Banner's race gets underway at 3.30pm, which is the fourth of a seven race meeting.
The first is expected to get underway at 1.45pm, with the last at 5.30pm.
