This week saw both the Tuesday and Saturday social bowls well patronised by members keen to have a roll.
With the Christmas spirit well and truly in full swing the club has seen a very busy Christmas season of parties.
The club hopes you have all enjoyed the venue and atmosphere it presents.
Tuesday social bowls
Rink 10: Jim Clark, Gordon Holland and Phil Burgess never looked comfortable against Dick Graham, Mick Burke and Peter Drew.
Although there were some close ends and the scores level on the 9th (9 all) Team Drew were too good in the end taking the win 24-14.
Rink 11: Terry Chifley, Des Sanders and Noel Witney took their time to open the scoring against Tom Beck, John Bosson and Alan Clark.
With a 15-2 lead by the 10th, the writing was on the wall for Team Clark who continued to dominate and take the win 21-17.
Rink 12: Chris Woodyatt, Jeff Adams and Gary Cameron battled it out against Ron Hogan, Ian Warren and Ron McGarry with a close match throughout.
With the scores tied on the 20th 16 all it all came down to the last end and one point with Team Cameron taking the win 17-16.
Saturday bowls
Rink 10: Jim Clark (swinger), Mick McDonald and Peter Naylor had a tough matchup against Jim Clark, John Hobson and Craig Bush.
With the score tied on the 6th (5-all), 10th (11-all) it all looked to come down to the wire. Team Bush walked away with the win 27-20.
Rink 11: Trevor Sharpham, Max Elms and Ron McGarry kept up the pace against Phil Burgess, John Bosson and Tiger Smith.
The match was level on the 11th (10-all), but from there Team Smith dominated the scoring and the win 22-18.
Rink 12: Terry James, Leon McIntosh and Tim Pickstone had their work cut out for them in this grudge match against Ray Minogue, Garth Robinson and Hugh Brennan.
With Team Brennan opening the scoring with six points on the first end and settling into the lead for the entire match, it took something special from Team Pickstone to battle for the lead.
Team Brennan had the lead on the 20th 23-21. Team Pickstone picked up three points on the last end to be victorious 24-23.
Rink 13: Dick Graham, Ted Parker and Losti Kotszta opened the scoring against Des Sanders, Jeff Adams and Noel Witney.
Team Kotszta had the lead 18-3 by the 12th end and held this lead to the very end to take the win 27-16.
Rink 14: Phillipe Legall, Ron Hogan and Alan Clark had a close scoring match against Terry Clark, John Croker and Terry Burke.
With the scores level on the 9th (7-all) and again on the 20th (17-all). So the final end came down to the wire with a one point win to Team Burke 18-17.

Game three, rink four: Ross James and Brian Burke versus Alex Birkens and Bob Lindsay. Ross's absence hasn't affected his game, with a narrow win on his return.

A return five and two for Ross and Brian had them back in front, a lead they held to the finish although they only won two ends and two shots in the last eight ends!

Game six, rink nine: Mick Sewell and Mick Bright versus John Finlay and Kevin Miller. The Two Micks looked to be winners with six ends and six shots on their account.
John and Kevin fought back, taking the next five ends to take the lead 10-6.

Game eight, rink 11: Barry McPherson (unusually Skip) and Paul Rodenhuis versus Trevor Kellock and John McDonagh.
Trevor and John were first to score in the first two ends, but Barry and Paul had a streak of six ends to lead 8-4.
