The four-year-old runner has only had one start under the training of Hewitt, having been brought up from Victoria, finishing third in the heat on December 16, which was enough to qualify for the final.
Hewitt believes the barrier draw will favour her starter and is expecting him to run well.

"I think that's good. At least he's nice and close to the action," she said on the barrier draw.
"He won't have to do a lot of work to get a position but I'm happy enough with the barrier."
Even though she's had Keayang Kreuzer for a short period, she's been pleased with how he's been working.
"I only got him 10 days before the heat, so I didn't get a lot of time to get to know him but I was pretty pleased with his performance," she said.
"I think he'll be a pretty nice horse. He was first up after a six-month spell in the heat run. It was a bit of an ask, as he didn't have time to have a trial.
"I bought him from Melbourne straight away and I was happy with his work with where he was at, thinking he could have a run in the heat.
"I think he could definitely do better this week again. I had to treat that first run as a bit of a trial."
She's also not the only Hewitt in the race, with her father Bernie having trained fellow starters No Nay Never and Molliesmaryelle and her uncle David having Raging Sea.
Her brother Doug Hewitt has a drive and her cousin Brad is driving for his father David.
"It would be pretty nice to have one win," she said.
"We've got the numbers definitely but there's a few nice horses in it, especially the one from Sydney [Aalesund] and Amanda Turnbull's [Balducci].
"They're going to be hard to beat and it's actually a good field. Based off the two heats, every horse deserves its spot in the final."
The final is at 7.50pm.
