Leaders SPOB White and clubmates SPOB Blue are sandwiching the dangerous ORC squad and the three teams have started to break away from the rest of the competition at the top of the ladder.
White sit on 56.02 points thanks to three first innings victories plus an outright win.
ORC are on 52.19 and Blue are on 46.49 - both teams boasting four wins this season to date.
Rugby Union (37.53) leads the way in a close fight for fourth.
In the statistics one Saints man stands well and truly clear of the pack in the batting figures.
St Pat's White's Phil Wright has been unstoppable, scoring 364 runs at an average of 72.8. He has a high score of 114 and hasn't been dismissed across five innings for less than 46.
Recent first grade stalwarts Chris Albon (207 runs) of Rugby Union and ORC's Trent Fitzpatrick (206) are locked in a close race for second on the runs chart.

Another Saint holds a big lead in the bowling race as Brendan Edwards (23) continues to carve up his rivals at an astounding average of just seven.
City Colts' Brad Molenkamp (18) and Saints' Nathan Maxwell (16) are in pursuit.
Saints' Rupert Begg (318 runs) and Centennials Bulls' Lachlan Martin (14 wickets) lead the President's Cup tallies.
SPOB White are also on top in the President's Cup race thanks to their unbeaten start but Centennials Bulls are within a point of them thanks to a pair of outright wins.
Those two look set to fight it out for the minor premiership as there's a big gap back to third placed SPOB Gold.
Last season's minor premiers Rugby Union are once again the team to beat in third grade.
They are yet to taste defeat and have 28 points to their name because of that. Bathurst City have taken another step this season and look to be the best chance of taking down the leaders, with the Redbacks close on 24 points.
