The club is currently running its school holiday program, which offers half and full days of activities for children aged between five and 15 years old.

Manager of the club, David Hitchick, said the program was being very well received.

"It's been a really good start to the year. I think due to lots of people not being away on holidays there have been a lot of people looking for care," Mr Hitchick said.

"We've had a stronger start than usual at this time of year; it's a good problem to have, finding staff to cover things, rather than kids to cover staff."

The school holiday program offers a broad range of activities for kids, including ball games, boxing, gymnastics, parkour and circus skills, which was a popular activity on Wednesday.

"Our school holidays are usually just a sampler of all the great things that we have through the year and our usual regular term times," Mr Hitchick said.

There are also a few extra activities not normally offered, including laser tag, frisbee golf and tenpin bowling.

The school holiday program is only available for club members, but membership is very affordable at $10 per year for under 18s.

Mr Hitchick said there are spaces left in the program for the remaining days of the school holiday and encouraged parents to make a booking.

The club is also taking registrations for its term one activities, which have generated a lot of interest, and staff are getting ready for renovations at the club, too.

"We just feel like we're in a really good position to re-launch again," Mr Hitchick said.

"Not that we didn't do well at the end of last year - lots of people came back - but I think we're in a strong position now to open up classes that we hadn't yet got back up last year. It's all fairly positive down here."
