The COVID-19 pandemic has seen a flood of podcasts emerge online, with content coming from celebrities and influencers, right down to everyday people who have something to say.
Cr Christian said his podcast will give him the opportunity to say what's on his mind, not just about local politics, but his other interests as well.
"They go for 15 minutes. It's nothing too exciting, but it gives me the opportunity to actually speak to people and talk about a lot of different issues so they can get to know me better," he said.
"I might talk about a local council issue, and then I might talk about a conspiracy theory that's got nothing to do with local council, I might talk about something in history or overseas; I just talk about a range of different things and rant really."

He said he is still working on how frequently he will post episodes of his podcast, considering a fortnightly or monthly schedule, but already he has made two live.
For those wanting to give it a listen, the podcast can be found on all major streaming services, including Apple and Spotify, by searching for 'The Alex Christian Podcast'.
Cr Christian has come under fire in the past for his behaviour on social media, but he thinks no one should have any concerns about him having a podcast while serving as a councillor.
"I think people should embrace it. I don't hide the fact I'm a councillor on there, that I'm an elected official, but this is just another tool for me to use," he said.
"It's not strictly in relation to council issues, I just talk about whatever I want.
"And with people out there trying to clamp down on me because I've been so successful on Facebook, people that have opposing views obviously want to quiet that down and I know that for a fact, so I'm essentially diversifying."
Other Bathurst residents who have embraced podcasting in the last twelve months include George Sargent (The Convo); the Generosity Church (Courageous Influence Talk Show); Lucan Blundell, Nathan Rollinson and Daniel Kennedy (Call Out Podcast Australia); and Grant and Chezzi Denyer (It's all true?).
