A bumper field greeted the fairways last Thursday and it was Shane Simmons who triumphed in A grade with 38 points on a countback over Peter Ward and Rob Kovac. Visitor Tim White was the scratch winner on 34.

Declan Fawkner made the trip from Indooroopilly a fruitful one with a lovely 41 points to win B grade from Nev Whalan and Lachy Weal (both 39). The stylish Peter Cragg fired 20 points to win the scratch.
A handy 37 points enabled Sarah Thompson to win the ladies event by a shot over Jenny Murray and Jan Ross.
Thompson teamed with Manor Cooper to register 75 points in the 2BBB multiplier and won by two shots over Chris Boardman and Rod Haines. John Young and Darrell Bourke (47 points) won the scratch.
Grant Ledingham was the Sunday standout courtesy of 41 points and a had two stroke margin over Shane Conroy. Ian Harris was third (37).
A bit of fun was held on Saturday with the running of a Pinehurst event and it was two of our superstar ladies in Lousea Johnston and Jane Williams who saluted in A grade courtesy of 60.5 nett for a slender win over Kevin Walker and James Woolmington (62). Kel Cooke and Wayne Boserio were the scratch victors on 68.
Steve Finnerty and Anthony Gibbs were B grade champions (62.5) with a one shot buffer over Jason Cooke and Clint Bryant. Andrew Stapleton and Neil Larcombe (79) won the scratch.
Sean Sloane and Robert Healey posted 58.5 nett and win C grade. Terry Poole and Andrew Falconer (65.5) were runners-up.
