Held on the first and third Saturday of every month, the markets are a celebration of all things locally grown and produced.
Market co-ordinator Kiri Armstrong said the Co Op is always on the lookout for any local food or craft producers to set up a stall and connect with the wider community.
"The markets are a wonderful opportunity for local producers to showcase their wares, make some sales and spread the word of their product," Ms Armstrong said.
"At this time of year, everyone's got something in their back garden, so it's a chance to forage those extra zucchinis or cherry tomatoes to share with others."
Ms Armstrong said the markets are also an opportunity to grow the image of Macquarie Plaza and the Co Op's role in the local community.
"It creates an atmosphere generating plenty of bright ideas, and we enjoy promoting Macquarie Plaza as a desirable space for fresh local produce," she said.
The next market is scheduled for Saturday, February 6.
