A 38-year-old woman remains in custody following allegations of an armed robbery and assault at Orange using a knife and a metal pole during the early hours of Sunday morning.

Chief Inspector Peter Atkins said Orange Police had charged the woman with a number of offences following incidents at a social event.
IN NEWS AROUND BATHURST:
"The woman involved was charged with a number of offences including two counts of armed robbery, two counts of aggravated detained for advantage, two counts of intimidation, two counts of assault occasioning bodily harm and one count of malicious damage.
"It is alleged the incidents included the use of a knife and a metal pole."
The accused woman was remanded in custody with bail refused and is due to appear in Orange Local Court on Monday, January 18.
