Fire crews, police and paramedics received triple 000 calls at around 10.30pm, saying a home in Culnane Place was alight.
In all four fire units from Fire and Rescue NSW, two ambulances, the hazmat unit and police responded to the call for help.
Neighbours to the property stood along the street watching as fire crews extinguished the blaze.

One neighbour, who lives down the road, said at one stage there was so much smoke it was difficult to see which property was on fire.
He said his mum, who lives in a neighbouring house, got a knock at the door telling her to leave.
Fire crews and other emergency services remain at the scene, with people advised to stay clear of the area.
Culnane Place remains closed off to traffic.
