It was a quiet but successful first appearance at the top level for the former St Pat's Old Boys player, who made a brief stint at the end of Gordon innings to contribute four runs to the 6-298 total.
He then bowled an economical 0-13 from his five overs as Randwick Petersham were all out for 235.
"I was a bit nervous going into bat as the bowlers were a step up from what I'm used to facing but once I was out in the middle the nerves faded away," Parsons said.
"I was actually quite confident going into bowl and it was a good challenge bowling to their top order.
"I started off in third grade then moved into seconds after a few matches but wasn't expecting to make a first grade start this year so it came as a bit of a shock.
"It's been my dream as a kid to play first grade premier cricket in Sydney so it was nice to fulfil that on the weekend."
Parsons' highlights include a 91 in third grade, 73 in second grade and a four-wicket haul in the Poidevin-Gray Shield.
"Our club is performing well above how we were predicted to perform with our first grade making the conference T20 final and Poidevin-Gray team finishing top of our conference," Parson said.
