Shurmer hit 54 runs in St George's victory over Mosman on Saturday, and his played one of his most explosive innings in the Sydney competition a week earlier when hitting a destructive 89 not out in a win over Fairfield Liverpool.
The 89-run effort - his highest second grade score since a November 2017 century - included 24 runs off the final over.
He notched up seven fours and four sixes in his hour and a half at the crease.
That late flourish of runs saw St George finish on 7-291, and Fairfield finished short in their chase at 239.
Saturday's most recent effort helped the Saints post 8-240. Mosman were all out for 177.
St George sit second on the ladder with seven wins a three draws from their 10 games.
Shurmer currently has a batting average of 40.1 for the season.
