Better known as Izzy, the talented teacher has shown strong dedication and effort throughout her studies receiving a number of awards including the White Family Scholarship and two Dean's awards, the Primary Teaching Graduate Prize and the Award for Outstanding Professional Practice.
Izzy has joined the Stannies ranks as an English teacher, catering for Years 7 through to 11, and said she had been looking forward to getting started.
"I was very nervous, but extremely excited," she said.
"After networking and connecting with the staff at the College, I feel a lot more confident, as they are very approachable, helpful and supportive, especially of me as a first-year teacher."
Having grown up in Cowra, Izzy spent her time playing sports such as netball and participating in the arts including music, singing, drama and dancing.
The standout student attended St Raphael's in Cowra from Kindergarten to Year 10, before spending years 11 and 12 as a boarder as All Saints College.
After graduating in 2016, Izzy decided to stay on in Bathurst to study at CSU.
"I chose CSU in Bathurst because it was local and I had heard that they had an excellent teaching program," she said.
"While I don't think I have always had a passion for teaching in particular, I have always thoroughly enjoyed connecting with other people and helping them in any way that I can.
"It wasn't until I was in high school that I really considered teaching after realising how much I enjoyed helping my friends with their school work."

Like a lot of CSU students, Izzy worked a number of jobs to help her through university studies and said working in different industries helped provide her with great experience.
"My main job was working in hospitality up at Rydges, Mount Panorama, and I also worked as bar staff at the Bathurst Memorial Entertainment Centre and El Guapo Cantina," she said.
"I'm a singer and have been able to do a few performances as well, but all of these jobs were fantastic, as I got to meet a lot of different people and had a lot of fun.
"I was also able to teach K to 12 casually around the Diocese, inlcluding Cowra, Bathurst, Orange and Lithgow, along with tutoring privately, and I think these jobs were particularly useful as I was gaining invaluable experience which would help me in my future career."
Her future career as an English teacher at St Stanislaus seems to suit well given Izzy loved studying English at school and has a penchant for creative writing.
"I found that I really enjoyed completing the literature subjects at uni," she said.
"I was very indecisive as to whether I would choose to teach high school or primary, as I was a little spoilt for choice and enjoyed both.
"I think one of the more preferable aspects of working with older students is that you are allowed to focus more on the content and nuances of the subject, and less on the micro-management of students, when compared to primary-aged students."
Outside of teaching, Izzy loves spending time with her family, friends and dogs, and also enjoys fitness, cooking, netball, reading and painting.
While she is looking forward to travelling more around Europe and Asia along with exploring our own Australian backyard, Izzy said she has a couple of professional goals to achieve first.
"My number one goal is to build an excellent rapport with the students, and ensure that they feel safe and welcome in my class."
