New fences are in the process of being erected around Field 3 following some hard work from Macquarie United applying for NSW Government grants.
The club has been generous enough to use the funds they received to build the fence for Bathurst District Football (BDF) along with supplying subsidised labour to get the work completed on a tight budget.
BDF Treasurer, Grant Foster, said it was great to see clubs working with BDF to improve facilities for everyone.
"We are very grateful to Macquarie for their help with the grants and for their generous use of the funds," he said.
"We have been working hard for a number of years to improve the facilities at Proctor Park and this has resulted in new changerooms for players, new changerooms for referees, totally rebuilt fields, fencing and covered benches for players, along with new car park.

"In the future we are looking at applying for more grants to help lift training facilities at Police Paddock including lighting and hopefully some portable, covered player benches for Field 3."
The Proctor Park complex has undergone a massive facelift in recent years and Macquarie United Club Manager, Geoff Rankine, said it was even the envy of metro precincts.
"It is great to host visiting teams out here at Proctor, especially those from Sydney, and just hear how much they rave about our facilities," he said.
"From the fields and access, to changerooms and the canteen, people can be proud of what we have to offer.
"As a club we have been involved in the masterplan for Proctor Park and we have supported BDF right through.
"We have also appreciated BDF's support and see helping with these upgrades as helping build an asset for all soccer players, for BDF and for the community as a whole to enjoy."
Players, families and visitors are also set to benefit from a number of small grandstands that will be put in place around the complex.
BDF were able to purchase the grandstands following another generous donation of grant money from Panorama Football Club.
