A wall will be knocked down to make way for a longer counter, which is needed to decrease wait times when people need to sign in.
"We'll be able to handle more customers at a time. At the moment, we've only got one POS (point of sale), so it will just help with the busyness," Mr Hitchick said.
"Anyone who comes through our holiday program knows there's a queue out the door in the mornings trying to get everyone signed in so [parents] can get to work, so we'll be able to halve the waiting times on that."
The female bathroom is also getting some much needed improvements.
Mr Hitchick said the club's building is around 30 years old and the bathrooms need a facelift.
"Hopefully we'll get some funding to do the boys' bathroom later," he added.
While the work is being done on the female bathroom, women will be using the disabled bathroom, which has already been renovated.
The club has also been able to get some new gymnastics equipment with the help of Member for Bathurst Paul Toole and the NSW government.
Mr Toole was happy to be able to support the club again, recognising the important role it plays in helping young people in the Bathurst community.
"Our youth are the future and it's great for the NSW Government to be able to support the team at the Bathurst PCYC and the job they do for our community." he said.
"Once their front of house renovations are complete, people won't know the place when they walk in that front door."
