This week, Jo was announced as the winner of a Australia wide competition, and on Wednesday she drove away with a brand new Toyota Corolla ZR Hybrid, worth around $40,000.
Jo said when dealer principal Shane Gilchrist called her with the good news, she didn't believe him.
"I thought it was some type of joke," she said.
In fact she almost didn't take the call.
IN OTHER NEWS AROUND BATHURST:
"I didn't want to answer my phone because I didn't recognise the number, and when he said I'd won a car, I thought it was a prank," she said.
Jo said she has never won anything before in her life.
She said as the family already have two cars, she is thinking of trading her Kluger in with the Corolla and buying a Prado, which she said was her "dream car."
While she didn't realise she could win a car by using the Toyota app ( which offers Toyota owners rewards and discounts, as well as providing a platform to arrange vehicle servicing) she said she uses it "quite a bit."
Dealer principal of Bathurst Toyota, Shane Gilchrist, who got to deliver the exciting news, said it was fantastic the prize was won in Bathurst.
