Orientation will begin for on-campus students on February 23, were there will be a number of study skills and support sessions running until Friday next week, before the start of session one on Monday, March 1.

Prof Germov said CSU will continue to liaise with its partners and appropriate bodies to assist with its response to any developments to the pandemic.

"The university supports the advice of the Department of Health and is sharing this with staff, students and our communities. If this advice or the COVID-19 situation more generally changes we will respond and our plans will be revised accordingly," he said.

"To make it simpler and safer for staff, students and visitors, we have moved to government tracing systems in NSW, ACT and Victoria.

"Everyone on our campuses will be required to check in via the posters and QR codes on our buildings, including staff at their regular place of work and irrespective of how long they will be there. Staff have been asked to assist in ensuring students and visitors comply with this requirement.

"Our campus services, such as food and beverage, library services, Student Central and counter services, have undergone a phased return and are increasing services with appropriate hygiene and cleaning in place."

Prof Germov said it's excited to welcome students back to campus.

"We are ready and excited to welcome commencing and continuing students to our campuses for session one of 2021," he said.

"We will deliver on-campus lectures, tutorials and practicals in a safe environment, and offer students the opportunity to blend on-campus and online study."
