Work will involve laying asphalt to provide a smoother surface for all road users on the Great Western Highway.
Work will be carried out on weekdays between 7am and 6pm, and is expected to take one week to complete, weather permitting.
Traffic control, intermittent stopping, and reduced speed limits will be in place for the safety of motorists and workers.
Motorists intending to travel Sunny Corner Road are advised to allow for an additional 10 minutes of travel time.
Motorists are advised to drive to the conditions, and follow the direction of signs and traffic control.
The works are part of an $8 million upgrade of a two-kilometre stretch of the Great Western Highway near Meadow Flat Public School, which commenced last June.
Transport for NSW thanks motorists for their patience during this time.
