For tens of thousands of years this beautiful, magical spot has been a place of special significance to the local Wiradjuri people.
Yet now, after all that time, a small, self-interested and ignorant group wants to play toy cars on it.

Imagine if Bobby Bourke suggested bulldozing the Cathedral of St Michael and St John to make way for a model railway.
If you can imagine how that would deeply wound the hearts and spirit of local Catholics, you might start to realise what this crazy go-kart plan will mean to our local indigenous brothers and sisters.
And I don't know about the rest of you, but I don't want to spend over $4 million in our rates on something that will then be closed to the public and destroy the beauty, peace and sanctity of one of our most incredible landmarks.
This must be stopped. It is not too late.
Remember, once it's gone, there is no bringing it back - it'll be gone forever.
