Last year, Vittoria's Beekeeper's Inn was preparing to become a venue to support Central West musicians with a series of regular busking gigs, until COVID put those plans on hold.

Fast forward to a year later and, from this Saturday, the venue will be reigniting the format, with buskers set to perform at the venue every Saturday from 11.30am to 1pm.
Beekeeper's Inn cafe manager Queenie Green said the sessions will encompass an 'unplugged' theme, and is open to any creative looking to perform in front of an audience.
"This program is all about giving people who have no access to venues a chance to perform in front of a live audience," Ms Green said.
"The time and day will always stay the same - to ensure customers get used to the performers being here and continuity with the program."
Bathurst local Anisha Gill will open the unplugged event on Saturday.
Ms Green said the venue will pay each artist $50 up-front to encourage tips from patrons as per a regular busking format.
"There is no age limit for performers, and artists keep every cent that lands in their case, we will never, ever take a cut," she said.
"If the musician has a music page set up on socials, we will give them a shoutout before the day so that they can get more traffic to their pages, and hopefully paid gigs if customers look for them."
Ms Green used to facilitate a similar program in her previous role as the owner of the Mad Season Cafe in Macquarie Plaza.
