The Lions Club of Bathurst Macquarie's markets were meant to resume for 2021 on February 6, but had to be cancelled due to rain.
The weather looks much more kind, however, for this Saturday, March 6, when the markets will get going again for the year at Lions Berry Park.
"The cancellation of the February event has only served to make the stallholders keener, so a great turnout is anticipated," publicity officer Jon Maclean said.
"Food We Do, OMG Decadent Donuts and Slow Dough Co. Artisan Sourdough will all be in attendance to provide a delicious addition to the varied arts, crafts and wares on show.
"The markets also coincide with Lions Awareness Day, which is held to promote the activities and objectives of Lions International, as well as appealing for new members.
"Lions Clubs are non-denominational groups where individuals join together to donate some of their valuable time and effort in aiding their communities and meeting humanitarian needs in a sociable environment."
Mr Maclean said the Lions Club of Bathurst Macquarie will man an information stall for those wishing to obtain further details.
"Or if you can't make the markets, search online at www.macquariebathurst.nsw.lions.org.au or the Macquarie Lions Bathurst Facebook page," he said.
Current COVID measures will again be in place at the markets, which will run from 8am until 1pm.
