Mr Rogers has made up a number of 'Discover Bathurst' corflute signs, which he had printed locally with Central Commercial Printers.
"Their main purpose is to be placed in any of our many empty shopfronts that would like one," Mr Rogers said.
"Anyone else is welcome to request a sign, as long as they can be displayed in a prominent location.
"It's all about promoting Bathurst."
ALSO MAKING NEWS:
The signs feature attractions including a list of museums, Abercrombie House and other heritage buildings, as well as different places to stay.
Mr Rogers said the signs can play a role in convincing visitors and tourists to the area that "there are more things to discover in Bathurst while they are here".
"If we can entice them to stay a bit longer, or just stay overnight, it will have a huge flow-on effect with our economy," he said.
"The council tell us the museum attendance is up to an all-time high, which is fantastic.
"Let's make sure as many of these visitors as possible learn about what else we have to offer."
People interested in getting a Discover Bathurst sign are asked to send a message to the Dennis the Dinosaur Bathurst Facebook page.
Dennis is a fibreglass dinosaur Mr Rogers has purchased to use as a tool to promote the city.
