The Rams' girls knocked off the Greater Northern Tigers in Tamworth in round two and will have to wait a week to see if they can progress through to the finals stage of the tournament with games still to be played.
But following last weekend's heart-breaking 12-all draw - the Rams scored three tries to the Colts' two - against Monaro, this week was a must-win clash.

And prop Channy Burgess said her side rose to the challenge.
Tuinakauvadra bagged a double and star halfback Alicia Earsman also crossed for four-pointers, alongside McLaren's debut try, in the much-needed victory.
But it was the young custodian, in her first game at the back in senior rep footy, and deputising for the absent Heidi Regan that drew special praise from Burgess, a veteran on the Rams scene.
"Molly played really well at fullback. She's usually on the wing but with Heidi out we needed her to step up and she did just that," Burgess said, the round two clash played in unseasonably hot weather for footy.
"I don't know it was as hot as last week but I'm wishing we played in winter."
Burgess was pleased her young side was able to put its drawn result against the Colts behind them this week.
She said improving her side's continuity with the ball was the key to doing just that.
"Everyone'es effort was up. We wanted to win this game, we needed to," she said.
"We had a few errors in our attack last week and we tidied that up today.
"Defensively, we don't want to be a side that's run over, we proved that against Monaro, but to get that win it was just about our attack and we tidied that up."
