Grant signed for the club as a 17-year-old back in 2008, three months prior to making his debut for the club in December, 2008.
He's since gone on to win three grand finals for Sydney FC and has represented Australia on 12 occasions.
Grant said he was happy to play at least one professional match for the Sky Blues, let alone 200.

"I don't think anyone becomes a professional to play a lot of games. You're just happy to get the one and see where it goes," he said.
"Obviously I've been here a long time, so the games do add up but it's really nice to play 200 games for Sydney FC. It's such a big club and to play it all at the one club, it's a pretty good achievement."
Although he's 34 games off equalling club legend Alex Brosque's record for most games in a Sky Blue jersey, Grant may have already broken the record if it wasn't for two anterior cruciate ligament injuries throughout his 12-season spell at the club.
Grant said Brosque's record is not something he's particularly focused on breaking.
"I don't think I have it in the back of mind. I plan on being here for a long time, so I'm sure the games will add up but I'm not sure how many I'll play," he said.
"It'd be nice to get up near Brosquey. He's a club legend and good mate of mine and a hero of mine. If not, I'm just happy to play as many games as possible for the club."
Grant is set to bring up his milestone on Wednesday night at Kogarah Oval when Sydney FC hosts Western United at 7.05pm.
It's a match Grant and the Sky Blues will be hoping to win, as they are going through a four-match winless run, which has resulted in two draws and two defeats, including losses to Melbourne City and expansion side Macarthur FC.
"The results of late haven't been what we wanted but that's why it's good to have a quick turnaround and focus on the next one to get the win," he said.
"Hopefully we can push forward and build up some good wins for the rest of the season."
